A dynamic, grassroots movement dedicated to championing the gubernatorial ambition of Dr Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat ahead of the 2027 Lagos State elections. Driven by passion, purpose and innovation YAH mobilises young Nigerians across Lagos to build a support base for a leader whose technocratic vision aligns with the aspirations of the next generation.
Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat is the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, having been elected in 2019 and re-elected alongside Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in 2023. Born on 19 September 1964 in Lagos, he holds a PhD in Systems Process Engineering from Cranfield University, England. A distinguished engineer and technocrat, he previously served as Commissioner for Science and Technology and Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, overseeing landmark projects including the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge. Renowned for his cordiality, maturity, and seamless leadership traits, Dr. Hamzat remains a pivotal force in Lagos State’s governance and development.
